Concept
Relaxation2u is a small business providing stress management and professional writing services. Owner Cindy Lyons needed a website with a relaxing look and feel to promote her business, provide information to potential clients, and sell her audio recordings.
Special Features
The website allows visitors to purchase audio recordings in two forms - physical CD's and downloadable MP3 files. The purchase of downloadable files presents two major problems:
- The payment for such a purchase must be confirmed in real time. The system uses Paypal's Instant Payment Notification (IPN) to achieve this.
- The buyer must be given access to only the files purchased, and must be allowed access to those files for a period of time in case of problems with the download. The system sends an email to the purchaser containing links to the downloadable files. These links are recorded in an online MYSQL database for verification, and removed when the links expire.
